At The Filo Project, we believe that living well with dementia is made possible when others work well with dementia. Our team is dedicated to creating warm, compassionate and stimulating experiences for older people who may be socially isolated or experiencing memory difficulties. 

 

We offer a range of rewarding roles across our organisation, each one playing a vital part in supporting people to live well with dementia.

Hosts

​​View current host vacancies and learn more about the role. Hosts welcome small groups of up to four older people into their own homes, providing companionship, enjoyable activities and a home-cooked hot lunch. You will work from 9am–5pm on hosting days and ensure your home is accessible, comfortable and safe (including ground floor facilities and minimal accessible, comfortable and safe (including ground floor facilities and minimal steps). All our hosting roles are part-time (1-2 days a week). 

Area Co-ordinators

Area Co-ordinators support the delivery of Filo groups across their locality. This includes liaising with families and professionals, co-ordinating referrals, networking, and supporting Hosts. This role is perfect for someone who has strong communication skills, can build positive relationships and shares our commitment to exceptional care. All Area Co-ordinator roles are part-time and fully flexible. Read more here

Administrative and Support Roles​​​

We have a range of full and part-time business support roles that enable our organisation to run smoothly, from supporting all staff, recruitment, to finance, customer service and project delivery. These roles are ideal for those who want to work for a dynamic and growing not-for-profit organisation, contributing to impactful work behind the scenes. These positions are predominantly office-based and flexible.
