Amy Court Spooner

I joined The Filo Project in October 2024, searching for a role where I could help to make a difference in my everyday work. As Digital Communications Officer, I focus on externally raising awareness about The Filo Project and supporting our internal communications. 

Growing up in Cornwall, I studied Journalism and Communications at Falmouth University, and since then, I’ve worked as a Copywriter, led a content team, and served as a Marketing Manager. While I’ve gained valuable experience in my previous roles, I always felt there was something missing. At The Filo Project, I’ve found a real sense of purpose and I’m excited to share the impact of a Filo Day with others.

Outside of work, I volunteer as an Events Assistant at my local Dog & Cat rescue. I enjoy exploring new places with my loved ones, staying active, and welcoming pets into my home as a dog sitter.
