Our First Day
Not only was yesterday our first day, but we also had our first Amazing Coincidence to report. Roy and Norman, meeting for the first time, discovered that they had both seen the Northern Lights back in 1936. Roy witnessed it in Shrewsbury aged 9, whilst over in Birmingham on the same day Norman, aged 11, also saw it. Both men were chuffed to bits to uncover this unique and happy overlap in their lives.
Lunch was chicken tray bake with raspberry and apple tart. No one went for cream today, it was custard all round.
